Ok, I got it
Donegal - Errigal
Errigal at 751m is the highest peak in Donegal and is thus very popular despite its vast amount of scree. It's shape is similiar to Tryfan but has few of that mountains magnificent features. It isn't quite as steep as it looks from most angles and the ridge to the twin summits makes it worth the effort.
The view coming in from the west - that's scree not snow!
As you start to go up from the car park it begins to look (deceivingly) less steep
A close-up of the twin summits
Once round the final tower on the way up the ridge becomes extremely pleasant
The summit
Afterwards we climbed the small hill to the east - a lovely little summit with good views of Errigal's steep cliffs
You can just see the faint path leading to Errigal's north ridge - we'd been told it was unclimbable but (too late) find it is. So, if I ever go back, it will be to do the traverse which should take only a little longer
