Other Pictures
The Sierra de las Nieves from the centre of Marbella - La Concha on the left and on the right 1087 with the Cruz de Juanar looking a lot lower to its left
The most popular place from Juanar is the Mirador
From the track to the Mirador you get this view of the Cruz de Juanar with the (descent?) path clearly seen - it's much nicer to go up round the back by the path through the olive grove
On a good day from the summit of the Cruz there's a great view of Marbella, The Med, Gibralter and maybe even North Africa
Getting to the summit of La Concha is a lot more exciting than the summit itself although, again, the views can be fabulous
On the way back from La Concha to Juanar you re-reach the cliffs of Salto de Lobo
Only if you scramble back up this will you get confirmation of where you are! You can just make out this sign on the high shoulder of the previous picture
We've moved miles away now to the Sierra Mijas - this is the lookout overlooking all of the Costa del Sol, and just over half way to the summit
