Ok, I got it
Walk 1 Pictures
The start of the walk is not very photogenic so the first picture is of our arrival at Pozuelo - the only place in the hills with any water
Then on reaching the Puerto de Pozuelo we went up the track right to scramble to the top of "1237" - naturally the lads tried to find the hardest way
The guys from the mountaineering club took the easiest way - this is them reaching the summit
Looking north from the top to the highest point in the Sierra Ronda - Torrecilla, 1917m - in late March, 2005 you can still see a fair snow covering but in mid February of both 2006 and 7 there was not a scrap to be seen
Looking back at " 1237" - incidentally I think this is yet another error in the map because that would make it the highest point in the Sierra de las Nieves because Salto de Lobo (the real highest point?) is only given 1225
Nearing the big track back to Juanar, Andrea, our club secretary, takes a short scramble to it rather than follow the path
